A Dog Named Ariel
June of 1994 you came
You and I had birthdays almost the same
Young you were
Only a puppy, age of 4 weeks
Ariel
From your Christmases
To opening the wrapper alone
And even with help
You had that twinkle in your eye
Ariel
You never bothered the cat
Or any living thing
Unless it was to eat
We were the ones bothered
Ariel
When we took you to the vet
You never complained
You were a good dog
A special dog
Ariel
When you and I were four it was time to move
After my mom and father got divorced
We went to my grandmothers house
You, me, my dad, and my brother
Ariel
Every day you loved us all
Even every night
When Friday came by
We renamed it for you
Ariel
Frog Friday it was known as
That was your night for pizza
You ate it so peacefully
And you would always catch it if we threw it to you
Ariel
We had a cat there as well
She was completely black
Her you did not bother
And neither did she to you
Ariel
Soon she died
I’m sure you were upset
I cried of the loss
And you whimpered
Ariel
We got a new cat
This one bothered you
But you never fought back
Kind loving, forgiving dog
Ariel
But before that I saw my mom again
You left alone
I missed you then and now
For when I can’t see you I feel empty
Ariel
We soon got a pug
She took all the attention away
Sadly to say
I went to her as well
Ariel
But you did not fear
Because you knew you were always dear
My attention came back to you later
You seemed so happy then
Ariel
Soon time went by
You grew older
And you decided to put all of your faith in food
But doesn’t every dog?
Ariel
It was soon to come
That you loved one specific toy
It was your so called baby
The toy you loved the most
Ariel
We made a game with your ball
And we called it fraws
Little did you know
We couldn’t do it without you
Ariel
You and I kept growing older
But the love never stopped coming
It was a special bond
Between you and me, or you and anyone
Ariel
You couldn’t harm a cat
A small dog
Or even a fly
Your were a very kind dog
Ariel
Soon you became sad
We discovered that the bones you ate
Had made you sick
So we got you plastic bones, which made you happy
Ariel
Later came a another center of attention
A tea cup yorkie
You and even the pug were pushed out of the way
But you still got loved the same
Ariel
But I soon got a game
Which now I regret
Called Nintendogs
Which made me spend time with fake dogs instead of you
Ariel
Soon I realized that i should be with you
Not some fake dog
So my love came pouring back
Right on to you
Ariel
You soon became sickly
What we thought would be
The end of thee
But we were wrong and you were fine
Ariel
I would always ask for one more year
Because I knew that you could pass away now
You were as old as dogs usually die
Which made me want to cry
Ariel
But I held it in
I knew you’d be fine
I was right
And you lived older then any other dog
Ariel
But soon you could realize
That I was sad
Not for you
But a cat had died
Ariel
His name was Jax
Sadly you did not know him
But you helped me get through
You were always there for me
Ariel
Soon I moved back to my old house
I could not see you
Until it came to Friday
And soon every other Friday
Ariel
The years crawled by to 2008
I was 13, and so were you
But in god years you were over 90
I wanted 1 more year
Ariel
I was exited for a tournament that night
And I was waiting for it to come
But I did not know
That you have died
Ariel
And I soon found out 3 days later
I am sorry I was not there for you
When you were put to sleep
My only memento of you is your collar

I only wanted a little longer
My next birthday
A little after
But my wish did not come true

Why did you have to die
Couldn’t you have waited for me
All I wanted was 1 more year
That’s not much to ask

And even now
Early in the morning
I still cry
"Why did you have to die?"

I was walking in the park
It seemed so very dark
Even in the day

The Moon And The Sky
Just like the moon and the sky
you are always passing by
notice you did i not
just like you were a blood clot
waiting for your move to make
I guess i was just fate
Moaning and Groaning
when i moan
but with one big groan
I never would pout
i would just let it out
